Proud Partner of Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie

Debic is associated with the top culinary figures worldwide. That is why we have for more than twenty years been a proud partner of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie: the most prestigious competition in the world in the domain of pastry, ice cream, dessert and chocolate

A shared history

The Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie was founded more than thirty years ago by Gabriel Paillasson and is now chaired by Pierre Herme. This unique competition is held every two years in Lyon and takes place during the Sirha: the most important biennial international trade show for the food service sector. During the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie, the world’s best pastry chefs, with the support of Debic, gain access to the highest achievable podium as well as a springboard to the world

Coupe du Monde is the future

Debic has been a proud partner of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie for more than 20 years. Debic believes in the innovative nature of this competition, where passionate chocolatiers and pastry chefs set new trends and inspire the young generation with surprising flavours, textures and designs. Debic products are used by culinary professionals worldwide. By working in a responsible and thoughtful manner with the ingredients that nature and the seasons offer us, pure ingredients such as fruit, butter, cream and chocolate remain the cornerstones of our wonderful pastry sector. Pierre Hermé and the organisers emphasise the importance of sustainable and thoughtful products, not least because consumers are increasingly asking for transparency about ingredients, their origin and their impact on our health.
